My son received a DWI in Texas and needs SR22 insurance. Currently he is still listed as a driver on me and my husbands insurance policy with State Farm. He does not own the car he drives, we do. We don't want him dropped from our insurance policy, however State Farm does not offer SR22. Is it possible to get him non-owner SR22 insurance with only the minimum insurance required in Texas from another company and still keep him on our insurance? He has already gone a 6 months without driving so we'll only need it for a year and a half.
